Planer operator training course is designed to provide instructions on the rules and practices for safe operation of the Bobcat® planer attachment. This course is NOT designed to qualify trainees as skilled or trained planer operators. After participating in this course, you will have learned:
- Importance of reading and following all instructions and workplace rules
- Properly attaching and removing the planer from the loader
- Planer's components and safety features
- Daily planer inspections and periodic maintenance
- How to assess a job site before milling
- How to get on and off the loader and planer safely
- Fundamentals of safely maneuvering and operating a planer
- Proper methods for transporting a loader
- Various types of milling applications an operator might encounter
Kit includes DVD, 5 handbooks, 5 course attendance certificates, 5 participation cards, safety manual, and administrator's guide.
